2. How we collect your data

We collect your personal data through several channels:

• From third-party platforms: such as job boards, recruitment sites, or partner referrals.

 

3. Purposes and legal bases for processing

3.1. Registration on the Gi Group Switzerland Portal

• Legal basis: Performance of a service
• Consequence of refusal: You cannot register if you do not provide mandatory data
  Data marked with an asterisk () are mandatory. If you refuse to provide mandatory data, we may be unable to process your request or application.*
• Retention period:
  – Voluntary application: 30 months after the last interaction with the portal or agency, unless extended by consent
  – Response to a specific job ad: if you object to the retention of your data for future selections, your data are kept for the duration of the selection and, in case of a negative outcome, until the selection is closed.

 3.2. Search and Selection of Candidates for temporary or direct employment and for the implementation of active labour policy paths or measures or in the framework of collaborations and/or partnerships with market operators

For temporary or direct employment, or within labor market partnerships and public employment policy initiatives.

• Legal basis: Execution of pre-contractual measures
• Consequence of refusal: we cannot proceed with the search and selection activities and assess your application
• Retention period: Same as above

 3.3. Sending of informative and promotional communications relating to the services offered by Gi Group/Completion of studies and statistical and/or market research relating to employment services Legal basis: Consent

• Consequence of refusal: No impact on your application or portal use.
• Retention period: Data are processed for the above-mentioned purpose until you revoke your consent.

 3.4. Sending information and promotional communications relating to services offered by other Group companies (training initiatives, career development, coaching, outplacement support, personnel search and selection and executive search) / Carrying out studies and statistical and/or market research relating to employment services)Including training, coaching, outplacement, executive search, etc.

• Consequence of refusal: No impact on your application or portal use
• Retention period: Until consent is withdrawn

 

4. Data recipients and transfers

Your data may be accessed and processed by:

• Employees and collaborators of Gi Group, duly authorized and trained.
• Third parties, including, in particular, client companies or entities; other market players in the case of partnerships; Group companies in Switzerland or abroad
• Service providers operating on behalf of Gi Group (e.g. hosting, database management, email platforms, research firms).

International transfers:
Your data may be transferred to companies that are not based in Switzerland or in a state belonging to the European Economic Area (EEA), i.e. in countries that do not therefore enjoy the same standardized level of protection within the EEA. For this reason Gi Group has put in place appropriate measures to ensure that companies which are not based in Switzerland or the EEA and which process your personal data provide adequate protection for this processing.

 

5. Your rights

You may request access to your data, their rectification or deletion, as well as restriction of processing, objection to processing and data portability by contacting the Data Controller by ordinary mail or by sending an e-mail to: ch.privacy@gigroup.com
You may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, as well as exercise the other rights recognised to you by the applicable regulations.

 

6. Withdrawal of consent

You may revoke your consent to the processing of your data at any time by logging into your personal account or by sending an e-mail to: ch.privacy@gigroup.com
