A leading recruiting and human resources company in Switzerland and Lichtenstein. A further significant step on the growth path towards becoming a global HR ecosystem.
Milan, Italy (1 December 2022) – Gi Group Holding announced today the acquisition of Eupro Holding AG a Swiss-based group of companies (“Eupro“) strongly specialised in the recruiting and human resources sector. The integration underlines the strong growth trajectory undertaken by Gi Group Holding, which aims to become a global leader in the staffing and recruiting sector through an HR ecosystem that can offer ad-hoc services, through seven complementary brands present in 29 countries worldwide. The company has in fact undertaken eight strategic acquisitions between 2020 and 2021, with a further four planned by the end of 2022 (including Eupro).
Specifically, the acquisition of Eupro for Gi Group Holding means increasing the capabilities of the Milan-based Group in Switzerland and the Principality of Lichtenstein, bringing its staffing business, both temporary and permanent, to €120 million in annual revenues, in addition to Jobtome, which counts €35 million in revenues. Today, with the addition of Eupro, Gi Group Holding’s strength in Switzerland and Lichtenstein counts 21 branches, across 19 cantons, and more than 90 employees, with a total count of 3,600 candidates and approximately 1,400 customers. More specifically, Gi Group Holding is now among the top 15 players in the industry and number one in the Canton of Ticino.
Stefano Colli-Lanzi, Gi Group Holding Founder & CEO said, “Gi Group Holding is delighted to welcome Eupro Holdings as part of our global HR ecosystem. This acquisition allows us to consolidate our position as a leading provider of recruiting services in Switzerland and Lichtenstein. It is a crucial step in our further growth as one of the largest HR service providers in Europe.
Since its foundation in 1997, Eupro has grown to have 2 brands in 2022 (Eupro, BauTech AG), helping customers with temporary or permanent staffing services, especially those with a primary focus in the construction or manufacturing sector. Eupro is a member of Swisstaffing, the national association of recruitment companies, and is certified through ISO 9001 quality management systems.
Oliver Diesl, CEO of Eupro – and with immediate effect – Gi Group Temp & Perm Switzerland Business Manager, concluded by saying “The integration of Eupro into Gi Group Holding is a testament to our hard work and passionate staff who, since 1997, have worked as a true and trusted partner for our clients and candidates, leaving a strong footprint in Switzerland and Lichtenstein; a footprint that will be further amplified by our joining a company with global vision and capabilities. We look forward to beginning this new and exciting chapter”.
Starting immediately, Eupro will begin the rebranding process to Gi Group Holding, with the exception of BauTech AG which is due for rebranding in 2024.
