Why are your data processed?

1. Registration on the Gi Group Switzerland Portal

What legitimises treatment?
– Performance of a service

What happens if you do not provide the data or do not give consent?
– If you refuse to provide the data marked with an asterisk, you cannot register on the Gi Group portal

How long do we keep your data? –
Voluntary application: your data are kept for 30 months after you have been entered into the database, or since your last interaction with the Site or the agencies, unless you agree to an additional retention period
– Application in response to a specific advertisement: if you object to the retention of your data for future selections, your data are kept for the duration of the selection and, in case of a negative outcome, until the selection is closed.

2. Search and Selection of candidates for temporary or direct employment and for the implementation of active labour policy paths or measures or in the framework of collaborations and/or partnerships with market operators

What legitimises the processing?
– Execution of pre-contractual measures

What happens if you do not provide the data or do not give consent?
– If you refuse to provide the data highlighted with an asterisk, it will not be possible for Gi Group to proceed with the search and selection activities and assess your application

How long do we keep your data?
– Voluntary application: your data are kept for 30 months after you have been entered into the database, or since your last interaction with the Site or the agencies, unless you agree to an additional retention period
– Application in response to a specific advertisement: if you object to the retention of your data for future selections, your data are kept for the duration of the selection and, in case of a negative outcome, until the selection is closed.

3. Sending of informative and promotional communications relating to the services offered by Gi Group/Completion of studies and statistical and/or market research relating to employment services

– Consent of the data subject to the processing of personal data

What happens if you do not provide data or consent?
– If you refuse to give your consent, you can still register on the GI Group portal and submit your application

How long do we keep your data?
– Data are processed for the above-mentioned purpose until you revoke your consent.

4. Sending information and promotional communications relating to services offered by other Group companies (training initiatives, career development, coaching, outplacement support, personnel search and selection and executive search) / Carrying out studies and statistical and/or market research relating to employment services)

What legitimises the processing?
– Consent of the data subject to the processing of personal data

What happens if you do not provide data or consent?
– If you refuse to give your consent, you can still register on the GI Group portal and submit your application

How long do we keep your data?
– Data are processed for the above-mentioned purpose until you revoke your consent.

Who will process my data?

The data will be processed by employees and collaborators expressly authorised to process them.

The data will be disclosed to third parties, including, in particular, client companies or entities; other market players in the case of partnerships; Group companies in Switzerland or abroad.

The data will be processed by entities that carry out processing on our behalf, including, in particular, companies that provide website management services, candidate database management and maintenance services; companies that carry out communication mailing activities; companies that carry out market research.

Your data may be transferred to companies that are not based in Switzerland or in a state belonging to the European Economic Area (EEA), i.e. in countries that do not therefore enjoy the same standardised level of protection within the EEA. For this reason Gi Group has put in place appropriate measures to ensure that companies which are not based in Switzerland or the EEA and which process your personal data provide adequate protection for this processing.

Can I revoke consent?

You may revoke your consent to the processing of your data at any time by logging into your personal account or by sending an e-mail to: ch.privacy@gigroup.com

What are my rights?

You may request access to your data, their rectification or deletion, as well as restriction of processing, objection to processing and data portability by contacting the Data Controller by ordinary mail or by sending an e-mail to: ch.privacy@gigroup.com

You may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, as well as exercise the other rights recognised to you by the applicable regulations.
