PROJECT ENGINEER 60% - TEMPORARY POSITION


Job description

The project engineer designs technical solutions, supports internal clients in their decisions and establishes the detailed engineering necessary for carrying out the work. He prepares and justifies funding requests, then oversees the execution of the project. As such, he is responsible for ensuring compliance with costs, deadlines and the functional performance of the delivered facilities.

Missions:

Management of small and medium-sized investment projects with a direct impact on production and/or commercial performance.

Performing process engineering calculations and contributing to facility optimizations.

Conduct feasibility studies for new plants or the transformation of existing facilities, including cost estimation, planning and functional analysis.

Planning, execution and support of production adjustments and new product launches.

Development of different technical options, with structured assessment of advantages and disadvantages.

Identification, acquisition and organization of the internal or external resources necessary for fast, reliable and compliant project execution.

Improvement of process flows and operational implementation of identified optimizations.

Profile :

Technical or academic training (Bachelor’s or ideally Master’s degree), preferably in mechanical engineering, process technology, biotechnology or industrial engineering.

Ability to apply and integrate technical knowledge into daily activities.

Excellent communication skills, with an autonomous, structured and rigorous work approach.

Advanced proficiency in English and German.

Strong leadership skills, particularly in matrix environments.

Solution-oriented personality, with an excellent understanding of the issues and operational and organizational contexts.
