Scientist – QC Microbiology (m/f/d)

Role Overview:
As a Scientist in QC Microbiology, you will act as the technical representative for the department, ensuring scientific excellence and compliance across assigned projects. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders, including participation in audits, inspections, and customer meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the technical representative of the QC Microbiology department (Visp site) during internal meetings, customer audits/visits, and regulatory inspections for assigned projects.
- Act as the scientific Subject Matter Expert (SME) for project-specific and other microbial analyses within QC Microbiology: monitor, evaluate, and coordinate the implementation of improvements as needed.
- Coordinate and ensure timely completion of work packages assigned to specific business units (BUs), while fostering effective communication within interdisciplinary teams (e.g., studies, validation/verification, deviations, and transfers).
Your Profile:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in microbiology or a related field, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong scientific expertise and ability to act as SME in QC Microbiology.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Language: German preferred; English required.
- Work arrangement: On-site presence strongly preferred (up to 2 days remote possible).
