Gi Life Science is partnering with a leading biopharmaceutical company to recruit a USP Bioprocess Engineer for a 1 year mission.
Your mission:
Design, optimize, and implement upstream bioprocesses to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production of biologic substances.
Your responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance upstream systems to improve efficiency across all phases of production.
- Lead process design projects and ensure safe, compliant operations.
- Evaluate existing processes and propose improvements to reduce costs, improve sustainability, and boost productivity.
- Design equipment and processes aligned with budget and performance goals.
- Implement process designs, create prototypes, conduct testing, and apply necessary modifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Your profile:
- Master’s degree in Bioprocess Engineering, Biotechnology, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in upstream processing within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Strong knowledge of cell culture, bioreactor operations, and scale-up strategies.
- Experience in process design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
- Fluent in English; GMP knowledge is a strong asset.
